Baseball/Softball Registration
Baseball/Softball Registration will be online from January 1-31 for kids 4-8. The determination date for age is 1/1/12 for girls and 4/30/12 for boys. Please sign up during January 1-31 to receive the early fee registration. Any registration that is not done by the deadline will be considered late and a late fee of $25 will be charged. There will be no exceptions. Most likely there will be a fundraiser for baseball/softball.
I ask that you also consider volunteering as a coach or assistant coach. There will be a place for you to mark this on the online registrations form. If you have never coached before you are required to take the Rutgers safety course. Also for any coaches who want to coach baseball or softball above T-ball you are required to take an online test under www.baberuthcoaching.org. The cost of this test is $19.95 and is not reimbursed by CTAA. This will be taken under consideration in picking head and assistant coaches. Also as per Chesterfield Twp law background checks are mandatory for coaches.
If you are interesting in sponsoring a team please check that box. Fill out the information on how best to contact you and we will make arrangements for payments. You will not make your sponsor payment online. There is also a section to make a general donation to CTAA if you would like.
Evaluations will take place at the indoor batting cage at Gilder Park in Bordentown. This is located behind the gas station on Crosswicks Street and 130/206 south. The date for evaluations will be either February 11 or February 12. In all likilihood the only groups that need to be evaluated by CTAA are rookie boys and possibly rookie girls. If you want to evaluate for a higher level you must mark that on the form and you must attend evaluations for your level and the level you would like to evaluate higher at.
Major and Minor baseball and softball are regionalized. There will be evaluations for these groups at the end of February or early March. CTAA has nothing to do with these evaluations.
